What sets this one apart from most of the others on our website is it leaves enough room for our stake pockets to be uncovered. So this is a great candidate for a awesome Tonneau Cover Ladder Rack combo. What hard tonneau covers do great job is they're much more durable than these soft tonneau covers and they also provide more security but they are gonna cost you a little bit more. These soft tonneau covers they're more cost effective and they don't provide as much security because let's face it, if we just have some sort of tarp on here what's to stop someone from coming up here with a knife and just cutting that tarp and getting what they need out of there. more

Some people really like this design because it folds up easily and is a lot smaller compared to a hard tonneau cover, which may have a large canister in the back or can cover your rear window when folded up. With this you have a minimal amount of space taking up your truck bed and you get to fill this up with all kinds of other things. So on first glance here, it does sort of have a low profile design, meaning that it only sticks up a little bit above the top of our bed rails there, so it's gonna provide us with a clean factory-like look. Now it also is gonna install inside the bed rails, leaving our stake pockets open so we can use stake pocket mounted accessories. There's actually a couple of ladder racks that'll work alongside this tonneau cover because they mount in the stake pockets. So there's two main types of tonneau covers on the market. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer.com. And today we are looking at our RetraxPRO XR hard tonneau cover here on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. What's really cool about this tonneau cover is that if you want something that doesn't cover your rear window or has T-track channels for ladder racks or other T-track accessories, this will work well with that. With the different options of tonneau covers out there, you got your soft tonneau covers, you've got your hard ones. Now a hard one is really nice because you do have that extra level of security.
